Job summary

Snap is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Spectacles team in Vienna. You will manually test firmware and mobile apps, triage issues, and design robust test plans to ensure high performance and reliability before release.

You will collaborate with product, design, and software teams, contribute to test strategies, and help drive quality improvements in a fast-paced, prototype-driven environment at Snap’s Vienna office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of industry experience in quality assurance.
• Proficiency with QA tools and familiarity with common development environments.

Responsibilities

• Support manual testing of firmware and software on iOS/Android devices.
• Test hardware and IoT/Specs devices to identify regressions.
• Monitor and triage bugs via Jira and crash report tooling.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Collaborate with QA, Dev, Design and PM teams to resolve issues.
