MADx – Macro Array Diagnostics GmbH in Vienna is seeking a dedicated scientist to perform routine protein purification from recombinant and natural sources, analyze samples, manage data, and help optimize workflows.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Biochemistry or life sciences, hands-on FPLC experience (ÄKTA/NGC), and strong English communication; German is a plus. This full-time role offers ownership from day one in a collaborative team focused on quality and innovation.

Qualifikationen

• Completed education in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related life sciences discipline.
• Practical experience in protein purification from recombinant sources.
• Hands-on experience with FPLC systems (ÄKTA/NGC preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and structured lab work.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
• Excellent English communication; German is an advantage.
• Experience with automated protein purification systems is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine purification of proteins from recombinant and natural sources.
• Analyze and evaluate purification samples.
• Manage biological samples using laboratory software systems
• Maintain accurate, complete, and traceable experimental documentation.
• Contribute to optimization and validation of existing workflows and processes.
• Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of laboratory equipment.
