Job summary

Magna Steyr seeks an experienced SCM Project Manager for an international project. You will build and coordinate the SCM organization from purchasing and logistics to quality and supplier management, guiding decisions to ensure project success.

You will lead the team, manage budgets, and act as the main contact for SCM with leadership and suppliers, including travel to the USA as required. Based in Graz, Austria, with Homeoffice options.

Qualifications

• Technical and/or business degree required (FH/TU).
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Fluent in German and English; willingness to travel.

Job Responsibilities

Für ein internationalen Projekt suchen wir eine/n engagierte/n Projektmanager SCM (m/w/x). Im Rahmen dieser Position ist eine projektbezogene Entsendung in die USA vorgesehen. Du möchtest SCM in einem interessanten Projektumfeld aktiv steuern und weiterentwickeln? In dieser Rolle übernimmst du eine zentrale Funktion beim Aufbau und bei der Koordination der Supply-Chain-Organisation im Projekt – von Einkauf und Logistik bis hin zu Qualität, Lieferant_innen und internen Schnittstellen. Mit deinem SCM-Know-how sorgst du dafür, dass Abläufe, Entscheidungen und Ziele effizient ineinandergreifen und einen wesentlichen Beitrag zum Projekterfolg leisten.

Deine Aufgaben

• Aufbau, Planung und Etablierung der SCM-Organisation im Projekt
• Übernahme der Führungs-, Budget- und Zielerreichungsverantwortung für SCM im Projekt, inklusive Einkauf, Logistik und SQA
• Kompetente Ansprechperson für SCM gegenüber Führungskräften, Mitarbeiter_innen, Kund_innen und Lieferant_innen
• Fachliche/r Ansprechpartner_in für interne Angebotskalkulationen im Projekt sowie bei der Bearbeitung von Änderungsanträgen
• Koordination von Angeboten und Zusatzumfängen sowie operative Steuerung des Änderungs- und Claim-Managements
• Frühzeitige Identifikation und Bewertung von Chancen, Risiken und Zielabweichungen sowie Einleitung geeigneter Gegenmaßnahmen
• Eskalationsinstanz bei kritischen Zielabweichungen und Gesamtverantwortung für die Ergebnisse des Änderungs- und Claim-Managements im SCM
• Weiterentwicklung des Teams sowie Gestaltung von Prozessen, Methoden und Werkzeugen inklusive Lessons Learned
• Berichtsverantwortung für SCM im Projekt mit Fokus auf Zahlen, Fakten und Zielerreichung

Wonach wir suchen

• Abgeschlossene technische und/oder kaufmännische Ausbildung (FH, TU)
• Fachspezifische Berufserfahrung im Bereich SCM und im Projektmanagement
• Sehr gute MS-Office Kenntnisse
• Kommunikationsstärke in Deutsch und Englisch (verhandlungssicher in Wort und Schrift)
• Dienstreisebereitschaft und Interesse an einem Auslandsaufenthalt

Dein Profil zählt! Anhand deiner Qualifikation, deiner Berufserfahrung und der Aufgaben, die auf dich warten, vereinbaren wir dein tatsächliches Gehalt.

Für die ausgeschriebene Position ist ein All‑In Jahresbruttogehalt auf Basis Vollzeit von mindestens €120.000 p.a. inklusive variabler Gehaltsbestandteile vorgesehen. Abhängig von der spezifischen Berufserfahrung ist eine dementsprechende Bereitschaft zu einer Überzahlung vorhanden!
