Zusammenfassung

TE Connectivity in Austria seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate delivery of strategic projects within a cross-functional environment. You will develop schedules, manage resources, and align with LeanPD and PRS strategies to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, quality and other functions, mentor teams, manage risks, and continuously improve processes.

Qualifikationen

• Technical background with university degree in engineering or equivalent.
• PMI certification (CAPM, PMP, or PgMP) required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good English and German knowledge, verbal and written.

• Provide planning and technical coordination support to ensure successful delivery of organizational projects.
• Contribute to the execution of the PRS strategy and support adherence to LeanPD principles and processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals related to profitability, competitiveness, customer satisfaction, and PMO metrics.
• Foster a collaborative environment across engineering, operations, quality, and other functions.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, resource plans, and forecasts; provide regular updates on progress.
• Identify risks and support mitigation activities for governance and compliance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance methodologies, processes, products, and ways of working.
• Support the Engineering Manager in delivering LEAP projects and VAVE initiatives.

Job Requirements

Project Delivery & Execution

• Provide planning and technical coordination support to help ensure the successful delivery of organizational projects.
• Contribute to the execution of the PRS strategy and support adherence to LeanPD principles and processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to help achieve project goals related to profitability, competitiveness, customer satisfaction, and key PMO metrics (LOT, LOC, LOQ, NPI Health).
• Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with colleagues across engineering, operations, quality, and other functions.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, resource plans, and forecasts, while providing regular updates on project progress.
• Identify potential project risks and support mitigation activities to help ensure effective governance and compliance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance project methodologies, processes, products, and ways of working.
• Support the Engineering Manager in delivering LEAP projects on time and contribute to the successful execution of VAVE initiatives.

What Your Background Should Look Like

• Technical background - Engineer with university degree or equivalent
• 4+ years of professional experience in Project Management
• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification (CAPM, PMP, or PgMP)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continues improvement attitude
• Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams
• Ability to form strong Teams and demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Proactive, resilient, and self-confident
• Good English and German knowledge, verbal and in writing (also for presenting)

Preferred

• Statistical knowledge (Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, AIAG and other statistical standards) / Green / black Belt
• Specialized and profound knowledge in electronics, physics, mechanics and plastics
• Background in LeanPD principals

We are legally obliged to state the minimum salary for this position as stipulated in the collective agreement.

This is currently €3888,6 gross per month (14 times per year, excluding shift allowances).

A higher salary is possible depending on personal qualifications, education, and professional experience
