A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Engineering Manager (m/f/d) at Siemens Energy, you will lead a diverse team of engineering experts across various fields to support energy transformation initiatives, including EPC of Combined Cycle Power Plants, HVDC projects, FACTS SynCon projects, and Hydrogen plants. You will engage with external and internal partners on technical matters, handle engineering-related risks and opportunities, and ensure adherence to technical contract execution and documentation requirements. This role is crucial for advancing our planet's decarbonization efforts and supporting Siemens Energy's business portfolio.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead pivotal projects in advancing decarbonization efforts and supporting electrical grid projects, including EPC of CCPP, HVDC, FACTS SynCon, and Hydrogen plants.
  • Engage with external partners (customers, consultants, authorities, suppliers) and internal teams on technical matters to shape the future of energy.
  • Lead, integrate, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team to achieve common objectives in bid or execution projects.
  • Manage engineering-related risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with technical contracts and documentation standards.

What You Bring

  • University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering or related fields, with 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in technical project management.
  • Preferably experience with power plants and power plant equipment, including site and commissioning experience.
  • Proven expertise in power generation, transmission, distribution, and EPC markets.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to adapt strategies to dynamic environments.
  • Ability to lead an international, dispersed engineering team across various engineering disciplines.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 25% for project needs.
