Production Process Engineer (f/m/d)

In this position, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving robust production processes and tools to ensure high yield and efficient output. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage supplier development, and drive innovation to meet quality and operational excellence targets.

Your Responsibilities

• Specify required tools (SOW) and related tooling, perform supplier evaluations, and ensure alignment with plant requirements
• Define and select suitable process tools and tooling, including CAPEX verification, to support robust machine usage
• Enable equipment installation, qualification, process setup, and training for shift engineering, maintenance technicians, and operators
• Apply process control and documentation standards (PI, Checklists, ORPs, CPs) and ensure up-to-date process change management
• Drive supplier development, screen potential new suppliers, and implement continuous process/machine improvements to meet efficiency and cost targets
• Support new product ramp-ups, transition into high-volume manufacturing, and lead task forces or working groups for effective troubleshooting and prevention

Your Profile

• Completed technical education(e.g. Material Science, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, etc) with at least 2 years of process engineering experience in IC-Substrate, Assembly, IC-Packaging, or a related industry
• Strong expertise in Six Sigma tools and proficiency in project management, data analytics, and design of experiments (DoE)
• Fluent in written and spoken English, with German language skills as an advantage
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment
• Experience working with intercultural teams
• Proficiency in leveraging state-of-the-art IT tools such as MS Office Suite, JMP, Minitab, and SAP to support technical and analytical tasks
