Product Specialist - Thermal Analysis (DMA) (f/m/x)

Anton Paar develops, produces, and distributes highly precise measuring instruments and automation and robotics solutions worldwide. Innovation, combined with craftsmanship and a genuine passion for research, forms the foundation of our success and drives everything we do.As a member of the Product Competence team, you provide technical consulting, help develop our product portfolio, and work closely with specialists, product management, and sales to support our customers.

Responsibilities:

• General application-related support for colleagues in international subsidiaries and for potential and existing customers
• Development and further improvement of applications for customers as well as new use cases, and transfer of this knowledge to our partners
• Functional testing of instruments and new software releases
• Preparation of sales-supporting materials and delivery of training sessions
• Support of key projects in the role of expert
• Execution of reference measurements and validations as part of development projects
• Participation in and presentations at expert conferences; support with instrument installations if required
• Active contribution to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Completed university degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g. physics, materials science, chemistry, or similar)
• Experience in the development of measurement methods, ideally in the field of thermal analysis
• Strong initiative and solution-oriented thinking
• Enthusiasm for measurement-related tasks and working with instruments
• Structured, analytical working style and strong implementation skills
• Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborating with female and male customers and internal teams
• Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel occasionally (<10%)

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €3.300 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
