A leading control valve distributor is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead its procurement department in Australia. The successful candidate will oversee a small team, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies. Ideal candidates should have 4-5 years of experience in procurement and be proficient in SAP. This role offers opportunities for continuous improvement and professional growth.
This company has been in operation for 30 years and is one of Australia’s leading Control Valve Distributors. They’ve been supplying control valves, butterfly valves and rotaries into major industries such as mining, oil & gas, water, chemical, power generation and food & beverage. The head office is located in Brisbane with branches in all major cities across Australia.
This position is responsible for leading the procurement department, where you’ll be responsible for leading two team members along with the following:
The ideal candidate for this role will have over 4-5 years of experience working in a similar procurement role with experience managing 2-3 people. Ideally have experience with SAP and be passionate about leading and maintaining relationships with key suppliers.
