Zusammenfassung

Interpath in Austria seeks an Assistant Manager in Procurement Consulting to lead multi-stakeholder procurement projects across Germany, the EU and internationally. You will collaborate with the Austrian Managing Director to support sales and build Interpath’s presence in Austria.

The role requires hands-on procurement and project management, experience with change management, spend analytics, data visualization, and P2P systems.

Qualifikationen

• Strong academic background and hands-on experience in procurement consulting and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to multiple projects and on-site teams while taking responsibility for cost control and implementation outcomes.
• Experience with change management, stakeholder alignment and training.
• Commercial understanding including P&L impact of procurement improvements.
• Good category knowledge including market dynamics, key suppliers, cost drivers and negotiation levers.
• Familiarity with eProcurement/P2P systems, spend analytics tools and data visualization.
• Excellent business development skills including support for pitch decks and proposal content and opportunities during delivery.
• Fluent German and English (C1) required; additional European languages such as French or Spanish are advantageous.
• Willingness to work on client sites across Germany, the EU, and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Assist in delivering multi-stakeholder procurement projects across international and domestic landscapes.
• Collaborate with the local Austrian Managing Director to support sales and business development initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to grow Interpath Advisory’s presence in Austria.
• Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and contribute to growth, visibility, and market positioning.
• Analyze bottlenecks, cost drivers, and risks to implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and contribute to negotiations and contract benchmarking.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and spend analyses to inform strategic decisions.
• Represent Interpath at procurement roundtables, forums and events.
• Support large-scale change management and readiness planning for disruptions.
