Overview

Upper South Creek Network Project - Supporting Western Sydney's Growth! Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to support the procurement process and provide technical assistance across key USCN project deliverables. In this role, you'll work closely with project and delivery teams to ensure procurement activities run smoothly and efficiently, while fostering strong relationships with suppliers and maintaining robust sourcing systems. We value continuous improvement, strong supplier partnerships, and supporting our people to grow.

Key Responsibilities

About you
  • Previous experience in a procurement role within civil construction.
  • Ability to build relationships over the phone, sometimes from scratch.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications typically used in major civil construction projects.
  • Previous experience preparing quote requests and collecting and analysing quotes.
  • Driver's licence.
