The University of Queensland is seeking a dedicated Privacy Manager to lead and champion a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability in the management of personal information. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the University complies with its obligations under the Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP Act), as well as other relevant privacy laws across the Commonwealth and international jurisdictions.
As Privacy Manager, you will act as a key champion for a mature, transparent, and "by-design" approach to privacy at UQ. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end privacy management across the University and will work closely with senior leaders and internal stakeholders to embed best-practice privacy principles into UQ’s operations, research, and services.
