The Edge Data Platform solution (EDP) streamlines data ingestion, cloud installation, and third-party data integration. It provides a unified data collection method for easy consumption while meeting the customers where they are. Expanding the EDP Product team, we are looking for a visionaryPrincipal Product Managerwithin the Data Acquisition area to co-spearhead our strategy and execution forDynatrace’s value in the Kubernetes space. You’ll drive adoption, scale ingestion, and lead the roadmap of our container orchestration platform to meet enterprise needs.

Your role at Dynatrace

Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead the strategic direction for Kubernetes operator, integrations, and lifecycle management, working closely with our agile R&D teams.
  • Collaborate with top-tier teamsin engineering, design, and go-to-market to deliver seamless, impactful integrations that WOW customers andcreate value-addthat sells and impacts product adoption in a measurable manner.
  • Establish KPIs(e.g.: operator adoption), track performance and pivot strategy based on analytics and feedback.
  • Balance the right investment forproduct/maintenance and innovation in alignment with the leadership team and other Product Managers.
  • Act as a companywide accepted expert that drives knowledge not only into the organization but also to the customers.
  • Engage with customers and industry leadersto understand their workflows, pain points, and emerging needs.
  • Monitor market trends and stay abreast of industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions.
What will help you succeed
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with prior success in setting product strategy and executing it based on research, data, and industry trends.
  • Experienceworking with enterprise customers and B2B SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes(operators, CRDs, networking, scaling), container orchestration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of product managers, lead engineers, lead architects, designers, and other business stakeholders.
  • Innovative thinking - ability to bring market and business understanding into the product to deliver differentiated value for customers and prospects, aligned with Dynatrace’s goals and strategy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to drive informed decision-making and measure product success.
  • Proactive and hands-on personality with high drive and a dynamic mindset.
  • Clearsense of ownership and accountability, strong communication skills towards team, peers, and stakeholders alike, as well as a bias for action
