Job summary

Dynatrace is seeking a Principal Data Analyst with a growth focus to advise cross-functional partners and own end-to-end reporting and analytics. You will leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, and scale insights across the team.

You will lead complex projects, translate business objectives into data requirements, and present actionable findings to senior stakeholders while collaborating with product and engineering teams on data architecture and reporting practices.

Qualifications

  • Track record of leading complex analytical projects across multiple business areas in high-tech or software organizations.
  • Strong SQL skills, proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, and advanced expertise in statistical analysis.
  • Strong experience building data visualizations and dashboards in tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience in data engineering and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, and scale insights across a team.
  • Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor, presenting insights and compelling recommendations in writing and in person to diverse and senior audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex analytical projects across multiple product lines and business areas from ad hoc requests to large cross-functional engagements.
  • Advise business partners on growth questions, translate objectives into technical data requirements, and present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Explore data to find patterns, trends, and new opportunities; partner with teams to test hypotheses measuring product changes and pricing impact.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations tracking KPIs with AI-accelerated reporting.
  • Gather data from databases, APIs, and external systems, then clean, validate, and model it; collaborate with engineering on data architecture and reporting methodologies.
  • Help shape roadmaps with Data Analytics and allied teams setting direction for data collection and analysis.

  • A degree in business administration, statistics, economics, or a related field.

Compensation And Rewards
