Leticia González’s group to develop new coupled-cluster methods for strongly correlated molecules and materials, then apply these methods to magnetic materials and catalysts. You will participate in the FWF ASTRA Merit project and interact with a broad range of scientific problems, attend conferences, and broaden your

Qualifications

• MSc degree in chemistry, physics or a related field obtained before the start of employment.
• Good written and spoken English; knowledge of German is not required.
• Knowledge of quantum mechanics and quantum chemistry.
• Experience in programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop coupled-cluster and many-body methods for strongly correlated systems.
• Apply methods to magnetic materials and catalysts.
• Attend conferences and present research.
• Collaborate with Leticia González’s group at the University of Vienna.
