About the role

Myhealth Burleigh Waters is looking for a Practice Manager to support a team of 10 General Practitioners and 1 allied health staff. Your role will involve managing staff, ensuring compliance, rostering, and implementing policies that enhance patient care and streamline workflows. Responsibilities
  • Assisting lead doctors with operational excellence
  • Overseeing day-to-day practice operations
  • Carrying out inductions and in-house training sessions for new staff
  • Overseeing and maintaining diary scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Team (including waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointments)
  • Solution focused management of clinic operations and doctor queries
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in managing nursing and administration staff preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice.
