Qualifikationen

• Doctoral degree/PhD in education or social sciences with a focus on empirical education or social science research.
• Publications in English Web of Science journals.
• Good command of both quantitative and qualitative social science research methods.
• Demonstrable experience in mixed methods research.
• Interest in the theoretical and philosophical aspect of mixed methods research.
• Excellent command of written and spoken German and English.
• Teaching experience at universities.
• Experience in the acquisition of third-party funded research projects.
• Experience with international cooperations and networks.
• Knowledge of university processes and structures.
• Experience of supervising students.

Aufgaben

• Study the methodology of complex multmethod and mixed methods research in educational settings.
• Active participation in research, teaching and administration.
• Publish in English Web of Science journals.
• Prepare project applications and acquire third-party funding.
• Prepare / write a publication-ready cumulative habilitation thesis.
• Teach independently of courses as defined by the collective bargaining agreement.
• Assist in supervision of exams and master's theses.
• Participate in organization of workshops and conferences.
• Be involved in department and teaching/research administration.
