Job summary

University of Vienna invites applications for a Post Doc position in psychotherapy research, based with the Professorship of Psychotherapy and Psychotherapy Research at the Institute for Clinical and Health Psychology. You will actively contribute to research, teaching and administration while promoting open science practices.

You should have a PhD in psychology or related field, with experience in psychotherapy research, statistical methods and EMA. English and German skills at C1 are expected.

Qualifications

• Completed doctoral studies in psychology or related fields.
• Experience with evidence-based psychotherapy research.
• Psychotherapy training in behavioral therapy or similar.
• Strong knowledge of advanced statistical methods (e.g., multilevel modeling).
• Experience with EMA and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the research profile in psychotherapy research.
• Plan and conduct scientific studies and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Present at national and international conferences.
• Teach courses and supervise students within collective bargaining provisions.
• Engage in funding applications and quality assurance.
