Qualifikationen

• PhD or comparable degree in physics, electrical engineering, materials science, chemistry or a comparable field.
• Solid written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to develop methods and concepts and to implement and evaluate them in an interdisciplinary project.

Aufgaben

• Conduct application-oriented fundamental research on advanced semiconductor processing technologies (SiC).
• Develop and optimize electrochemical processes and surface engineering techniques.
• Investigate fundamental mechanisms of electrochemical reactions and microstructure evolution using experiments and simulations.
• Plan, perform and independently evaluate experimental investigations with advanced materials characterization.
• Publish results in international journals and present at conferences.
• Co-supervise PhD and Master students and coordinate activities within the project team.
• Collaborate with national and international partners.
