Zusammenfassung

Bystronic Laser AG in Austria seeks an automation engineer to develop PLC software for configurable storage towers and intralogistics systems, connecting directly to laser cutting cells and bending cells. You will work hands-on with real machines, improving software architectures and contributing to smart material flow solutions.

Ideal candidates have PLC development experience, Beckhoff TwinCAT familiarity, and a strong grasp of industrial communications.

Qualifikationen

Degree in electrical engineering or automation.
Experience in PLC software development, Beckhoff TwinCAT preferred.
Solid knowledge of EtherCAT/OPC UA/MQTT or similar.
Strong interest in modern industrial automation and connected systems.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Aufgaben

Develop and maintain PLC software for automated storage and intralogistics.
Implement machine control interfaces to laser cutting and bending cells.
Contribute to modular software architectures for configurable machines.
Participate in commissioning and testing at our site and customer sites.
Troubleshoot automation workflows and optimize machine sequences.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, HMI, and software engineers.
