You will develop PLC software for highly configurable storage towers and intralogistics systems that connect directly to laser cutting cells, bending cells, and future autonomous material flow solutions. Our team develops the foundation for intelligent material flow in sheet metal manufacturing. We build flexible systems that connect storage towers, machines, and transport solutions, including driverless transport vehicles. We combine traditional automation with modern software and connected device technologies to create smart, data-driven production environments.

What you will be doing

• Develop and maintain PLC software for automated storage and intralogistics systems using Beckhoff TwinCAT


• Implement machine control for storage and intralogistics systems, according to interfaces to laser cutting cells, bending cells, and higher-level software systems


• Support the development of configurable and reusable software architectures for modular machine systems


• Participate in commissioning and testing activities in-house and occasionally at customer sites


• Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows, machine sequences, and communication systems


• Work closely with mechanical, electrical, HMI, and software engineers in interdisciplinary project teams


• Contribute to modern industrial connectivity solutions using technologies such as MQTT and OPC UA


• Support continuous improvements in software quality, diagnostics, and maintainability

Your education & experience

• You have a degree or technical education in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field


• You bring experience in PLC software development, ideally with Beckhoff TwinCAT


• You have a good understanding of industrial communication systems such as EtherCAT, OPC UA, MQTT, or similar technologies


• You have a high interest in modern industrial automation and connected manufacturing systems


• You bring experience with Git or similar version control systems
