Herold is seeking a software developer to maintain and enhance internal web applications, optimize interfaces, and ensure reliable operation. You will build backend solutions and perform minor frontend tasks within a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes documentation, QA, and participation in code reviews, with a focus on turning requirements into clean code and scalable software systems in a German-speaking setup.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable IT/development qualification.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, databases, version control tools and PHP frameworks.
• Knowledge of Zend Framework versions 1.1/2 and Laravel; frontend knowledge with React and JQuery is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Maintenance, development and improvement of internal web applications; optimize interfaces and ensure reliable system operation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Develop and optimize software systems for products and internal management tools; onboard new projects and conceptualize solutions.
• Program backend solutions and minor frontend changes on provided tasks.
• Analyze and resolve software errors; perform basic QA, participate in code reviews and write automated tests.
