Herold is seeking a capable software developer to maintain, develop, and optimize internal web applications in a Vienna team. You will implement backend solutions and minor frontend tasks, while also creating technical documentation and contributing to QA processes.

The role supports up to five remote days per week, with a 38.5-hour workweek and a gross monthly salary of €3,500, potentially higher depending on qualifications and experience. Strong English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable IT/development qualification.
• Experience with JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, databases and version control.
• Knowledge of Zend Framework v1/v2 and Laravel; frontend tech like React and jQuery is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Maintain, develop, and improve internal web applications and interfaces; ensure reliable operation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Develop and optimize software systems and onboarding of new projects; conceptualize solutions.
• Program backend and perform minor frontend work on provided tasks.
• Analyze and address software issues; participate in code reviews and write automated tests.
