CCRAFT SA in Neuchâtel, Switzerland invites a Microfabrication Process Engineer to advance semiconductor fabrication processes for TFLN photonic chips. You will develop and optimize process modules, drive qualification, and support production along the foundry roadmap.

The role requires MSc/PhD in microengineering or related field, 3+ years in semiconductor fabrication, experience with lithography, etching, and metrology tools, and strong English communication.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or PhD in Microengineering, Photonics, Materials Science, Physics, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor or integrated photonic fabrication processes.
• Experience with TFLN processing is highly desirable.
• Hands-on expertise in lithography, etching, thin-film deposition, and semiconductor microfabrication.
• Experience with DoE and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Design and execute microfabrication process experiments for technology development.
• Develop, qualify, release, and transfer new process modules into production.
• Define process windows and manufacturing specifications.
• Collect and analyze fabrication data for process qualification and continuous improvement.
• Implement statistical process control (SPC), root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Prepare technical documentation, process reports, and maintain process traceability.
• Own technology modules throughout development, qualification, and production.
• Collaborate with design, PDK, testing, production, and customer engineering teams.
• Support procurement, installation, and qualification of fabrication equipment.
