The University of Innsbruck invites applications for a Recognised Researcher (R2) in Philosophy. The position includes independent research and teaching across Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Philosophy and Ethics Teacher Training, plus contributing to administrative tasks and ongoing professional development.

Applicants should hold a PhD with a focus on ethics-related areas, demonstrate capability to secure external funding, and possess excellent German and English communication skills.

Competenze

• PhD completed; field preferably in general ethics, medical ethics/bioethics or business ethics.
• Experience securing external funding.
• Teamwork with strong communication; ability to work independently; organisational skills; capable of working under pressure; enthusiasm for supervising students.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.
