Your Responsibilities

  • Investigation of strategies for optimizing biocatalysts via cell and protein engineering
  • Supervision of students in molecular biology and molecular biotechnology exercises
  • Investigation of membrane-bound enzymes and their applications in biocatalysis
  • Publication of research results in journals and at scientific conferences
  • general tasks to support the institute in the areas of teaching and research

Your Profile

  • Advanced knowledge of biochemistry, molecular biology and biotechnology, especially whole-cell biocatalysis and enzymology
  • analysis of reaction products (GC, HPLC)
  • microbiological working techniques
  • ability to work in a team

Admission Requirements

  • Completed master's or diploma degree in biotechnology, biochemistry or a comparable discipline
  • Very good knowledge of German and English

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52,007.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
