Graz University of Technology is inviting applications for a PhD Position (all genders) in Computational Engineering. The position is aimed at pursuing a doctoral degree and contributes to teaching within the Institute of Structural Analysis in Graz.

The successful candidate will hold a completed master's degree and engage in advanced computational research, including Finite Element Methods, across civil engineering disciplines.

Qualifikationen

• Completed master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of numerical methods, especially the FEM.
• Very good programming skills, e.g., in Matlab.
• High level of English and German, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Research in Computational Engineering towards a doctoral degree.
• Support in teaching activities at the Institute of Structural Analysis.
