Emerging Scholars Council in Graz (TU Graz) seeks a University Assistant PreDoc to perform research towards a doctoral degree in Computational Engineering and to support teaching at the Institute of Structural Analysis. The role is for a fixed-term 60 months with a 40-hour workweek.

The applicant will conduct research in computational engineering, participate in teaching, and handle administrative tasks, with an annual gross salary starting at the stated minimum.

Qualifikationen

• Completed master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics and numerical methods.
• Very good programming skills (e.g., Matlab).
• Proficiency in English and German (spoken/written).
