The Vienna Doctoral School in Cognition, Behavior and Neuroscience (VDS CoBeNe) at the University of Vienna invites applications for 2 pre-doc University Assistant positions. You will work on cutting-edge research, with supervision from two CoBeNe PIs, and a path to completing a dissertation within 3 years.

We offer mentoring, international networking, and transferable skills training. A 3-year contract with a collective-bargaining salary is provided, with flexibility for remote/hybrid work upon

Qualifikationen

• Must-haves: Master’s degree or equivalent in one of the respective study fields, degree certificate available before admission by June 2027.
• Not enrolled in the doctoral study program and have not previously applied for the CoBeNe uni:docs call.
• Project supervised by two CoBeNe PIs; second supervisor chosen later.
• Excellent spoken and written English; official certificates not required.

Aufgaben

• As an university assistant pre doc, you will participate in empirical studies.
• You will publish results in international journals and present at conferences.
• You will help acquire new research projects and participate in administration.
• You will conduct research, teaching, and organizational tasks as defined by the team.
