Overview

PICA is seeking an experienced and dynamic Partnerships Manager to spearhead the growth and management of our corporate partnerships. This part-time role (0.6 FTE) with a pro rata salary of $100,000 p.a. plus superannuation is a senior position within PICA’s leadership team, crucial for delivering sustainable income through strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for implementing PICA’s long-term Corporate Partnerships Plan and working with our Ethical Partnerships Framework to ensure all collaborations align with our values and strategic vision. Your role includes identifying, securing and stewarding mid to high-level corporate partners, managing contracts, reporting and maximising engagement opportunities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of proven experience in corporate partnership management or sponsorship, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with a high degree of organisation and autonomy. A genuine passion for the arts and the ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholders is essential.

Selection Criteria
  • A minimum of 5 years related experience with proven expertise in securing and effectively managing a portfolio of corporate partners.
  • Demonstrated experience managing all steps of corporate relationships and contracts, including stewardship, event delivery and impact reporting with excellent attention to detail.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare and communicate compelling proposals for investment.
  • Experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, outstanding interpersonal skills underpinned by an emotional intelligence approach to ensure effective, collaborative working relationships with a wide and diverse range of staff, artists, Board members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, including persuasive abilities, effective listening, diplomacy and tact, team-playing with demonstrated success in securing and managing corporate relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate conflicting demands with minimum guidance and ability to work independently but also efficiently and effectively within a collaborative and busy team.
  • Excellent computer skills, preferably with MacOS, with proficiency in using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint platforms, Raiser’s Edge or equivalent CRM and Adobe Design Suite.
  • The successful applicant must hold a current driver’s licence.
