TGW Logistics seeks a project manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of automated logistics or distribution centers under general contracting. You will ensure technical, scheduling, and economic results with support from a team of specialists.

Qualifications

• Profound technical education as stated (Higher Technical School/University/University of Applied Sciences) in related fields such as Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, IT or Industrial Engineering.
• Relevant job experience as project manager, ideally in plant construction and engineering.
• Very good command of German and English.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting with result orientation.

Responsabilités

• Managing assigned projects from transfer to customer acceptance.
• Acting as communication interface between customers, project teams and suppliers.
• Managing technology, costs, schedule, quality and performance from award to warranty with cost/schedule control.
• Order controlling, maintaining functional specifications, change management, supplier monitoring.
• Coordinating and monitoring assembly, commissioning, run-up, test, and final inspection.

As a project manager, you will manage the entire implementation of automated logistics or distribution centers within the framework of general contracting, and will be responsible for the technical, scheduling and economic result of the projects. You will be supported in your task by a team of specialists.

What you'll be handling:

• Managing assigned projects from the time of project transfer to acceptance by the customer
• Communication interface between customers, project-related expert teams and suppliers and construction
• Project responsibility concerning technology, costs, schedule, quality and performance from award of contract to end of warranty inclusive cost and schedule controlling
• Order controlling, maintenance of functional specifications, change management, supplier monitoring,
• Coordination and monitoring the assembly, commissioning, run-up and test run as well as final inspection

What you'll need:

• Profound technical education (Higher Technical School/University/University of Applied Sciences, e.g. Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, IT or Industrial Engineering)
• Relevant job experience as project manager, ideally in plant construction and engineering
• Very good command of German and English
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, result orientation
• Result orientation and organisational skills
• Perseverance, initiative, strong implementation skills and a high level of problem-solving competence
• Willingness to travel international (up to 30% of working time)

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 64.830 Euro.
