The Role

As an Operations Manager, you’ll lead and support approximately 5–6 centres. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coaching and mentoring Centre Directors and their teams
  • Overseeing centre performance across compliance, quality, family engagement, and financial outcomes
  • Driving the delivery of exceptional education and care aligned with the NQS, EYLF, and Happy Hearts values
  • Supporting centre openings and transitions
  • Leading training and professional development initiatives
  • Fostering a strong, collaborative team culture
  • Building external relationships within the early childhood sector
  • Regular travel to support centres across Queensland
  • Setting and supporting managers to create and manage KPI incentives
What You Bring
  • A minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership or multi-site role within early childhood education
  • Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
  • Current Working with Children Check and child protection training (or willingness to obtain)
  • In-depth understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and compliance frameworks
  • A proven track record of building strong teams and improving service outcomes
  • Commercial awareness and ability to drive results while maintaining quality
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time-management skills
  • Experience with Kidsoft, CCSS, and sector system requirements is an advantage
