Jobgether is seeking a Software Engineer - Solutions Engineering based in Switzerland to join a globally distributed team. You will develop open source software enabling DevOps across bare-metal, private clouds, Kubernetes, and HPC, with a focus on Python, Go, and the Linux stack.

You will build reliable automation, monitoring, and alerting for complex infrastructure, collaborate with engineers across regions, contribute to upstream projects, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifikationen

• Experience building reliable, maintainable software in an agile environment.
• Strong Python development experience and exposure to Go is preferred.
• Solid Linux and networking knowledge, with interest in broader Linux stack.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
• Attention to quality, testing, documentation, and performance.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality open source software operations code using Python and Golang.
• Work across the Linux technology stack, including kernel, networking, storage, virtualization, containers, and applications.
• Build and improve open source infrastructure for monitoring, alerting, automation, and reliable operations.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to address infrastructure and software operations challenges.
• Follow agile practices and contribute to high-quality delivery.
