Job Opening: Female Dancer for New Evening Length Piece

We are seeking one female dancer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dance, performance, or theatre production for our upcoming evening length production.

Location

Austria (Vienna, Salzburg)

Rehearsal and Performance Schedule

Availability required for the entire period:

• October 25 – November (end date TBA)
• December 1 – 10 (including shows on December 7 & 9)
• January 15 – 31, 2022 (including shows from January 27–30)

Rehearsals are 5 days a week, 9 hours per day including a 1-hour break.

COVID-19 Guidelines

All activities will follow current health guidelines. Vaccination or testing every 2 days is required.

Compensation and Contract

The fee aligns with the Austrian independent performing arts minimum standards (linked). We cover travel and accommodation. The contract is based on self-employment, with a total minimum fee of €4,800, with potential for overpayment.

Candidate Profile

• Strong foundation in breaking and/or urban dance styles
• Comfortable with improvisation, partnering, and movement experimentation
• At least 2 years of professional experience in dance, performance, or theatre
• Professional attitude, proactive, and team-oriented
• Proficient in English
