Zusammenfassung

IMS Nanofabrication GmbH is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to deploy and integrate our multi-beam mask writer software at IMS sites and customer facilities worldwide. You will configure tools, upgrade systems, and support FAT while documenting results.

You will collaborate with R&D and on-site engineers, driving automation, and improving processes. Fluency in English, a technical degree or equivalent experience, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifikationen

• A technical degree (e.g., computer science, electrical engineering, physics) or at least 3 years of relevant technical experience.
• Very good knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and system architectures.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical thinking, and resilience.
• Very good spoken and written English.

Aufgaben

• Deploy and integrate multi-beam mask writer software at IMS and on customer sites.
• Prepare tool-specific configurations and perform regular software and configuration upgrades on customer and IMS tools and testbenches.
• Conduct FAT (factory acceptance tests) including full documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues by analyzing data, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions.
• Report troubleshooting activities, observations, test outcomes, and proposed solutions via Jira ticketing system.
• Provide expert support to onsite engineers.
• Drive ongoing improvement, automation, and optimization of team tasks.
• Collaborate closely with R&D engineers and other stakeholders to develop best solutions.
• Create technical documentation.
• Take ownership of projects and work independently.
• Fulfill on‑call duties (one weekend every two months).
