IMS Nanofabrication, based in Austria, is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to deploy and integrate our multi-beam mask writer software at IMS and on customer sites. You will support automation, optimization, and project ownership in a hands-on, international environment.

The role involves collaborating with R&D, creating technical documentation, performing FAT tests, and traveling internationally a few times per year. Strong Linux, networking, and English skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• A technical degree (e.g., computer science, electrical engineering, physics) or at least 3 years of relevant technical experience.
• Very good knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and system architectures.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to tackle complex challenges.
• Willingness to travel a few times per year (up to one month per trip).
• Hands-on mentality and customer-oriented thinking.
• Very good spoken and written English.

Aufgaben

• Deploy and integrate our multi-beam mask writer software at IMS and on customer sites.
• Prepare tool-specific configurations and perform regular software and configuration upgrades.
• Conduct FAT (factory acceptance tests) with full documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues by analyzing data, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Report troubleshooting activities and test outcomes via Jira.
• Provide expert on-site support and drive ongoing improvements.
