The Division of Energy Planning and Nuclear Information and Knowledge comprises the Planning and Economic Studies Section, Nuclear Knowledge Management Section, and the Nuclear Information Section. The division is responsible for strengthening capacities in energy and nuclear power planning, managing nuclear knowledge, developing a nuclear workforce, and providing knowledge management and human resource development services to member states. It also procures and provides printed and electronic information in nuclear science and technology.
The Nuclear Knowledge Management Section assists member states by developing methodology and guidance documents in nuclear knowledge management and human resource development; implementing initiatives; facilitating education, training, and information exchange; and helping maintain and develop nuclear knowledge and workforce.
The Nuclear Knowledge Management Specialist builds on experience with nuclear technology and knowledge management throughout the nuclear technology lifecycle, supporting development and implementation of effective KM methods, including sustainable systems and processes to capture and manage nuclear information and expertise based on member state needs.
The role includes: (1) technical project management, (2) expert team member providing analysis and developing system requirements, and (3) coordination of initiatives, meetings, and communication with stakeholders.
