BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a Network Specialist in Switzerland to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN). You will install and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, monitor performance, and resolve issues to ensure SLA adherence.

The role requires strong Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD skills, plus hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper,

Qualifikationen

• Experience in configuring and maintaining enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Proven ability to document procedures and maintain clear incidents.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
• Fluency in German and English; Swiss work permit or entitlement.

• Respond to service desk tickets while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
• Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Install and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Configure VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, NAT, and routing protocols.
• Support firewall policies, VPN connectivity, and network security best practices.
• Perform firmware updates, configuration backups, and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to service desk tickets while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
• Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
• Work closely with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure network reliability.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, or similar networking equipment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a customer-focused environment.
• Valid swiss permit to work in Switzerland
• Local language (German) & English fluency
