This Position reports to:
Product Owner
Your Role: Own the Challenge
As a .NET developer for B&R's OPC UA FX Technology Package, you will work closely with our Component Owner and the development team, analyzing requested features and defining how they should be designed, developed and tested. It will be your responsibility to ensure functionality, quality, future-proof design, and timely delivery. You will be part of a development team that is embedded in an agile development set-up and part of our RnD Group Communication.
Furthermore:
- Contribute to B&R's OPC UA FX product strateg and close cooperation with Component Owner and development team
- Analyze requested features and contribute to the product development with your own ideas and proposals
- Maintain and improve the software design of the product by applying design patterns and software architecture best practices
- Maintain and improve the software quality by adhering to coding conventions, documentation and testing.
What it takes to Run what runs the world- Completed Bachelor studies in the field of Computer Science or similar
- 5+ years of work experience preferred
- Software Architecture: Ability to apply design patterns, ensuring maintainability and extensibility of the product.
- Software Development: Experience with C#/the .NET Framework, agile development, unit-testing, static code analysis, and code-reviews.
- Networking : Understanding of the ISO/OSI model and network protocols in general.
- Industrial Automation: Knowledge of machine automation, OPC UA, and TSN is a plus.
- Tools: Proficiency in Git, Visual Studio/Code, Bitbucket.
- Language Skills: German C1, English B2

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 3.775,27 - € 4.341,85 gross per month as of May 2025. There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
