About the Role
This position reports to the Manager Mobile Banking Channel and leads up to 12 Mobile Home Loan Specialists.
Providing leadership in the delivery of sales and compliance to a national group of mobile lenders across the P&N Bank and BCU Bank brands.
The purpose of this position is to achieve home loan growth targets, and develop strategies to deliver on home lending, and cross-sale targets, through coaching and inspiring the Mobile Home Lending team.
The successful applicant will be eligible for an attractive remuneration package, including a vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop.
Responsibilities of a Mobile Banking Manager include:
Business Outcomes & Revenue Growth
- Responsibility for the performance outcomes for a national Mobile Lending team made up of P&N and BCU Mobile Specialists, including the day-to-day management to deliver on business plans, strategy and agreed business outcomes.
- Development, delivery and execution of a self-generated sales strategy for success in the Mobile lending channel, and to influence the end-to-end experience for home loan customers.
- Creating a high-performance culture within the team while ensuring member experience, and good consumer outcomes are prioritised.
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing relationships with key industry partners, whilst creating and developing business development materials, networking and presentation schedules.
- Implement Local Area Marketing initiatives and strategies to drive results that align with organisational objectives.
- Ensure organisational sales framework/sales techniques (Enrich & Empower) are embedded and maintained at a high level for maximum member and internal experiences.
- Completing coaching observations and self-audit activities to ensure compliance is met regarding responsible lending obligations and bank practice.
Member /Customer Satisfaction- Lead and coach the team to effectively maximise the member experience in order to increase both the awareness and market share of the P&N and BCU Brands through the Mobile Lending Team.
- Manage and respond to complaints from members on issues that arise. Collaboration with Retail Leadership Team and Industry partners to represent P&N & BCU Bank in the home loan market through associated visitations, expos, effective partnerships and other planned business development activities.
- Build and maintain positive internal and external business relationships to support ongoing strategic and business objectives.
- Ensure Member Experience is a consideration in every decision. Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables are achieved as per SLA’s/organisational benchmarks.
Financial- Minimum Operational Losses and preventative action planning.
Manage Loan Quality performance, First Arrears Rates and CPD requirements to avoid unnecessary financial losses.
Manage budgeted expenses to plan. - Adherence to responsible lending guidelines and building a strong risk culture within the team that results in good member outcomes.
What will you Bring?- Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership level retail lending/banking role with exposure to Home Lending.
- Certificate IV in Front Line Management or similar
- Tertiary qualification in appropriate discipline, post graduate desirable
- Advisory experience with a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of core competencies underpinning this area of expertise.
- Budgets and Targets, Business Planning for Sales Management, Strategy writing and execution.
- Lead develop and implement needs-based conversations in line with organisational strategy. Implement strategies to expand mobile lenders capabilities. Implement strategies to drive internal lending and cross-sell opportunities.
- The ability to build referral networks and teach networking skills to staff
- A comprehensive knowledge of home lending including complex lending (self-employed, bridging). Strong numerical reasoning and credit skills.
- A comprehensive knowledge of Banking products & services, procedures and compliance requirements, including general insurance.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. The ability to influence at all levels Proven sales and coaching skills.
- Manage material risks and ensure quality assurance lenders is upheld to compliance and service standards
