Summary

Associate Expert Medical Device Testing Laboratory (m/f/d)

LOCATION: Schaftenau, Tirol, Austria.

TYPE: Hybrid Working., #LI-Hybrid

At Novartis, we are reimagining medicine to improve and extend people's lives. As a member of the laboratory team, you will generate physical/mechanical/functionality analytical data to characterize and assess the quality and stability of our vials, syringes, autoinjectors, etc., and drug-device combination products. You will contribute to data assessments, out-of-spec investigations, and method improvements.

The laboratory is located in Schaftenau, Tyrol, a vibrant site with development and manufacturing of Novartis portfolio products.

Major accountabilities:
  • Planning and performing laboratory testing of medical devices and drug-device products.
  • Measuring parameters like injection forces, dose accuracy, physical dimensions, etc., using advanced equipment.
  • Compiling test reports.
  • Maintaining analytical equipment.
  • Supporting method development, validation, and transfer.
  • Investigating out-of-spec results.
  • Updating SOPs.
  • Collaborating with development teams for analytical data.
Qualifications:
  • Apprenticeship, secondary school, or degree in Technical, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
  • Proficiency in English; German is advantageous.
  • Laboratory experience.
  • Experience with medical devices or pharma industry is a plus.
