INNIO Group in Austria's Tyrol region seeks a motivated Mechanical Engineering student for a 6-month internship starting January 2027. You will work in a driven engineering team to improve engine performance through simulations and testing, supporting gas engine development and in-house tests on single and multi-cylinder engines.

The role emphasizes independent work, basic engine knowledge, and strong collaboration across functions in a global matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Must be a Mechanical Engineering student or similar with strong motivation.
• Ability to work independently in a global matrix organization.
• Good communication in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Improve steady-state and transient performance of internal combustion engines through simulation and testing.
• Support gas engine development focusing on performance, efficiency, emissions, and operating strategies.
• Assist 1D simulation activities for combustion and gas exchange.
