Material Engineer (m/w/d) | Poysdorf, AT

YOUR TASKS

  • Independent planning, organization, and management of material development projects (focus on plastics) and compound development
  • Hands-on work using plastic-specific technical lab equipment (e.g. single-screw extruder, co-kneader, internal mixer for elastomers)
  • Development of new formulations and optimization of existing ones
  • Execution of projects in collaboration with suppliers, customers and R&D centers, as well as active expansion of an international expert network through committees, conferences and trade fairs
  • Designing, supervising, and mentoring thesis projects and internships
  • Theoretical evaluation and practical testing of innovative technologies in the plastics sector
  • Preparation and professional presentation of research and development results, both internally and externally

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed technical education (technical college/university of applied sciences/university) in materials science, plastics engineering, or organic chemistry
  • Ideally, professional or research experience in the field of polymers or materials
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Solution-oriented, creative, and proactive mindset with a strong sense of curiosity
  • Reliable personality with clear and persuasive communication and reasoning skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and a structured way of working
