Qualifikationen

  • Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der pharmazeutischen Produktion (GMP-Umgebung).
  • Fließende Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse sind erforderlich.

About the role:

The MCM project leader position requires managing projects, programs, portfolio, and change control for material changes (raw material, auxiliaries, excipients, packaging) for Vienna and other impacted manufacturing sites, ensuring supply continuity and business growth.

Coordination of the implementation of raw materials for a group of products while balancing plant efficiency, sales, distribution, customer service, and meeting inventory, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory requirements is the key focus.

This position requires excellent project management skills, including the ability to communicate appropriately with all departments within the Vienna site as well as in other Takeda locations.

How you will contribute:

  • Manage overall portfolio and projects for raw material changes for all products/plants considering the lowest possible impact on market supply and manufacturing operations while still maintaining the highest possible efficiency in change implementation.
  • Lead cross-divisional and/or cross-functional projects with a broad scope by identifying and engaging necessary resources and developing a project plan.
  • Initiate escalation process and facilitate problem solving for issues endangering supply continuity or fulfillment of business-critical goals.
  • Define and control a transparent process for business case development of requested material changes as the base for defining project priority and required implementation target date.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers (sites), stakeholders, third parties/vendors.
  • Align different Supply Chain views and needs (Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management) in the context of material change to one Supply Chain implementation strategy.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Education in natural sciences, biotechnology, or engineering: minimum bachelor degree (or at least 5 years proven practical experience as described below).
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing and/or quality in (bio/pharmaceutical) production (GMP environment).
  • Project Management, Change Control, Supply Chain, Materials Management knowledge is a significant advantage.
  • Good knowledge in IT and knowledge/understanding of Quality Systems such as ERP/EQM systems e.g. TrackWise, SAP, C3ME or others.
  • Fluent English and German language skills are mandatory; other languages are an asset.
  • Outstanding communication skills and experience in working with colleagues in various global locations.
  • Resilient under pressure, with a strong focus on solutions and excellent teamwork skills.
