About the role:

The MCM project leader position requires managing projects, programs, portfolio, and change control for material changes (raw materials, auxiliaries, excipients, packaging) at Vienna and other manufacturing sites, ensuring supply continuity and business growth.

The role involves coordinating raw material implementation for a group of products, balancing plant efficiency, sales, distribution, customer service, and regulatory requirements.

This position demands excellent project management skills and effective communication with all departments within Vienna and other Takeda locations.

How you will contribute:

  • Manage portfolio and projects for raw material changes, minimizing market supply impact while maintaining change efficiency.
  • Lead cross-divisional projects, resource engagement, and project planning.
  • Initiate escalation and problem-solving processes for supply or business-critical issues.
  • Define and control processes for business case development of material changes.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, sites, and vendors.
  • Align supply chain perspectives (Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Sourcing) in material change strategies.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Bachelor's degree in natural sciences, biotech, engineering, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years in manufacturing or quality in a GMP environment.
  • Knowledge of project management, change control, supply chain, and materials management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in IT and systems like ERP, SAP, TrackWise, C3ME.
  • Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and global teamwork experience.
  • Resilient, solution-focused, and team-oriented.
