CBmedGmbH in Graz is seeking a Master Thesis Student / Student Research Assistant (f/m/d) for 20 hours per week, 6–9 months, to join the Text2Win project—LLM-Assisted Digital Twins in TNBC—bridging AI, digital twins and breast cancer research.

You will curate TNBC pathology reports, preprocess data, annotate features from LLMs, support statistics and manuscript writing, with flexible hours including home office; ideal for students aiming for a PhD or research career.

Austria’s leading company – CBmed is a center for biomarker research in medicine with headquarter in Graz. It links excellent research infrastructure, scientific expertise, medical knowledge, national and international industry partners for systematic medical biomarker research.

We are seeking a highly motivated

Master Thesis Student / Student Research Assistant (f/m/d)

part-time 20 hours per week for 6-9 months to join our innovative project "Text2Win - LLM-Assisted Digital Twins in TNBC" in Graz, contributing to cutting-edge research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, digital twins, and breast cancer research.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Curate and organize TNBC pathology reports and clinical metadata
• Preprocess pathology reports and prepare data for analysis
• Annotate and validate pathology features extracted by LLMs
• Support statistical analysis, visualization, and manuscript preparation
• Participate in research discussions and publication activities

Expected skills and abilities:

• Current Master’s student in Bioinformatics, Medical Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
• Interest in AI, healthcare, and biomedical research
• Motivation to contribute to scientific publications

Optional and beneficial skills include experience with:

• Experience with Python data science tools (pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter)
• Interest in NLP or Large Language Models
• Basic knowledge of clinical or biomedical data
