Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, or related field.
• First experience in antenna array design and validation measurements or bi-static sensing.
• Basic understanding of antennas, electromagnetics, and wireless communications.
• Experience with RF measurement equipment or SDR is advantageous.
• Programming in Python, MATLAB, or C++ is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and characterise circularly polarised patch antennas for different array geometries.
• Integrate the antenna arrays into an SDR-based testbed and perform experimental validation.
• Develop simulation models for bi-static MIMO sensing and real-time measurement setup.
• Gain hands-on experience with antenna design, beamforming, DOA estimation, and SDR systems.
• Validate sensing algorithms using motion capture systems and collaborate with wireless sensing researchers.
