Qualifikationen

  • Very strong experience in management consulting, IT consulting, audit, or complex multinational organizations.

Description

The Master Data Governance Manager (m/f/d) defines master data management rules and processes together with master data domain owners, monitors compliance with these standards, monitors master data quality across all domains, ensures that violations and issues are addressed and sustainably solved and continuously improves master data management practices.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, including processes, policies, standards, and roles (i.e., required attributes, data structures, data entry rules, validation rules, process flows, roles & responsibilities, documentations, potential tool support)
  • Monitor process compliance and ensure that violations are addressed (incl. setup and management of audits and cross functional formats to address issues, escalation of issues that are not or insufficiently addressed)
  • Oversee functional data ownership/stewardship practices, ensuring compliance along defined dimensions
  • Monitor KPI development on data quality, integrity, and usage fostering a culture of data accountability (incl. calculation formulas, data sources)
  • Identify improvement areas, initiate improvement plans, and prioritize execution in alignment with strategic priorities
  • Create board presentations on master data governance status
  • Continuously improve rules and processes to further improve master data quality and process efficiency

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor or master's degree in business, engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics
  • Very strong experience in management consulting, IT consulting, audit or complex multinational organizations, manufacturing and service experience a clear plus
  • Experience in handling large data sets using SQL, Python, R or similar
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated team player with an entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset and get-things-done mentality
  • Highly organized with good time management skills, and a strong ability to multi-task and adapt
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a strong presence, team spirit, and leadership skills

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.673,74 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
