Job summary

Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien’s Institute for Marketing and Customer Analytics seeks a Teaching and Research Associate (Prae Doc) on a 30‑hour per week schedule. Start: Nov 1, 2026; duration: six years.

You will conduct independent research, contribute to publications, and plan courses at Bachelor’s and MSc levels while supporting students. You should have a strong quantitative background, be pursuing doctoral studies at WU, and work with an international team on marketing analytics and data

Qualifications

• Solid academic qualification with a master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Strong focus on quantitative topics relevant to doctoral studies.
• Enrollment in a doctoral program at WU is expected.

Responsibilities

• Write a dissertation while spending a third of working hours on research.
• Support publications and co-operate on research projects.
• Plan and teach courses at Bachelor’s and MSc levels.
• Provide student support and act as co-advisor for theses.
