Lam Research in Austria is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and validate cutting-edge mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, performing feasibility studies and guiding teams in detailed design and fabrication.

You will produce design documentation, conduct engineering analyses, and collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years; or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills
• Highly proficient in 3D CAD tools such as CREO, Siemens NX, ProE, SolidWorks, and others
• Hands-on experimental and design background coupled with solid engineering skills

Aufgaben

• Support the full life cycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to productization including conceptualization, designing, development and validation
• Designs components using variety of metals, ceramics, plastics and advanced coatings
• Perform engineering analyses (structural, thermal, FEA, flow, vibration, manufacturability) to optimize designs
• Develop feasibility studies and test plans to validate product performance and reliability
• Generate technical documentation, FMEA and specifications to deliver safe, manufacturable and cost-effective solutions
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams while providing technical guidance to junior engineers
