Lam Research in Austria seeks an Automation Design Engineer to design, develop, modify and integrate automation and robotics for new product lines. You will create electromechanical concepts, specify components, and drive test and validation plans for assemblies and complete machines.

You will collaborate with software, controls, and manufacturing teams, perform feasibility studies, prototype development, and communicate design intent during reviews.

Qualifikationen

• HTL diploma or higher in a relevant field with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical and mechatronic engineering and motion control.
• Hands‑on product development and testing experience, with solid engineering background.

Aufgaben

• Design and analyze mechanical and mechatronic systems, including motion control.
• Participate in all phases of automation development from requirements to volume production.
• Collaborate with software, controls, suppliers and manufacturing teams.
